TASTEE: Lethal Tactics

I acted as a Mission Designer within the Singleplayer Campaign on Tastee: Lethal Tactics, a simultaneous turn-based tactics game.

What's it all about?

What's it all about?

Taste: Lethal Tactics is a a plan-and-go turn based tactical game, where the player assigns a set of orders for a squad of mercenaries to act out within 5 seconds at a time while their opponent does the same. Once planning is finished, the orders are resolved in real-time and superior tactics prevail.

Players can test their skills against a 30 mission extensive single player campaign and against other players in online multiplayer.

What'd you do on this?

What'd you do on this?

On this project I was responsible for designing and implementing 15 separate single player missions.

With the entire scope of our single player campaign in mind, I set about creating a variety of concepts for missions, utilizing different objective types, enemy types and environments.

Once these concepts were approved, my process started on paper, mapping out objective positions, cover and enemy spawn points before implementing in Engine.

Once the framework of the mission was in place and playable, I would set about working on constant revisions and iterations through a extensive review process.

Each of these missions were constructed in a strict timeline to meet our launch date so planning and scoping were highly necessary to ensure the quality of the content.
